This weekend The Big Zephyr Band will take the stage Saturday, October 17 from 6–8:30 p.m. at the “boot scootin” barn dance.

Festival hours are Fridays from 12–9 p.m.; Saturdays from 9 a.m.–9 p.m., Sundays from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.  Admission, which covers all rides and entertainment plus pumpkins for the entire family, is $15 per person, with kids under three free.

Located on the southeast corner of Highway 69 & 169 in Dewey, Ariz., Mortimer Farms is the place to be every weekend in October for an “a-MAZE-ing” time at the 2015 Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze.

The 2015 Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze at Mortimer Farms, benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH), will be open every remaining weekend in October in Dewey, Ariz.

The 15-acre corn maze, custom designed to represent PCH, offers three points of entry into the 10’ walls of corn, based on various skill levels.

In addition to the 15-acre corn maze, the event will feature the farm’s 10-acre Pumpkin Patch where families can wander and search for the perfect pumpkins to take home, one per person, as part of the festival’s admission fee.

There will also be live music & entertainment, craft vendors and farm fresh food. Plus there will even be a Blacksmith at the festival, creating works of art in iron.  This Saturday, October 17, the Mile High Tractor Club will be displaying antique tractors and bystanders can watch as they compete for “Top Pull,” seeing which operator & antique tractor can pull
the weighted sled the farthest.
