Most people don’t think about assisted living care until it’s upon them. Often a fall leads to surgery and surgery leads to the need for assistance in daily living. The challenge for most is cost. Traditional senior assisted living communities offer apartment homes that range from $2,800 for a studio to $3,600 for a one-bedroom. And then care is added to that.
At Bridgewater, we have partnered with the Arizona Department of Housing to offer low-income or income based housing and care. As an income based community, your annual income is the determining factor to qualifying for as a resident. To qualify an individual’s annual income cannot exceed $27,840. Couples annual income cannot exceed $31,800. If you meet these qualifications and you need assistance in daily living, we would invite you in to see the community. Prices for rent and care start as low as $1,950 a month for supervisory care. And, if you’re a military veteran, there are programs available that may provide additional non-taxable income to you and or a widowed spouse.
Bridgewater Assisted Living’s program is designed to respond to the individual needs of senior adults who may need help with some activities of daily living, yet are eager to remain as independent as possible. Assisted Living at Bridgewater provides a supportive environment, which promotes maximum independence, dignity, and interaction with friends, family and community. When you choose assisted living at Bridgewater you will have access to our certified care staff 24/7, transportation, emergency pendant that is worn around your neck, in-room pull cords, routine health assessments by our licensed residential nurse, and an attentive and responsive staff.
