On April 20, 2015 at 7:45 a.m., detectives detained Seth Martin at his place of employment without incident in connection with this case. He was questioned by investigators at police headquarters and is in the booking process. A search warrant was served at the suspect’s residence and evidence was recovered. Investigators believe the motive was robbery.
Investigators believe the suspect entered the Circle K on April 18, 2015 at approximately 10:00 p.m. and walked to the fountain drink area. The victim was outside when the suspect arrived and he reentered the store shortly behind the suspect. The suspect approached the counter with his fountain drink and immediately pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim. In the course of the robbery the victim was shot multiple times and the suspect calmly exited the store with his drink and left the area westbound in a dark colored pick-up truck. The suspect’s vehicle was also recovered.
The suspect is being booked for 1st Degree Murder and Armed Robbery.
