Senior Jacob Swift is the State Champion in Wrestling at 170 pound Weight Class. This is Jacob’s fourth consecutive state wrestling title in four different weight classes. He went 179-0 during his four seasons at Deer Valley High School, where he broke virtually every DVHS wrestling record and led his team to 28 dual victories, which is the most all time in the team’s history. Jacob holds the state wrestling record for consecutive victories and is just the second Arizona high school wrestler to capture four state titles while remaining undefeated in his career. He was selected as Arizona Wrestler of the Year, by wrestling coaches from around our state and named azcentral sports’ Wrestler of the Year.
