Exploring Peoria Entrepreneurship Online Community Catalyst is a four-part interactive virtual series hosted by Arizona State University’s J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute. Each part will be hosted live at the Peoria Main Library, Sunrise Mountain Library, Rio Vista Recreation Center, and the Peoria Sports Complex every Friday this month. The series will be live-streamed 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. through Televeda’s platform so that participants from across the city can safely participate from wherever they are in real-time.

“Peoria Forward is a high-impact partnership between the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute at ASU and the City of Peoria to grow and scale the entrepreneurial ecosystem to transform the future of Peoria through entrepreneurship,” according to Arizona State University’s J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute. “Peoria Forward provides the tools, innovations and support to leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators to build a thriving, self-sustaining entrepreneurial ecosystem in the West Valley.”

The virtual series also aims to encourage adults 55 and older who are interested in learning about entrepreneurship in Peoria. The series will include interviews with local entrepreneurs, including fitness experts, restaurateurs, artists and authors who work in Peoria. It will consist of interactive trivia, information on unique resources and a look into the future of this fast-growing community. Participants will hear from community leaders about exciting projects on how everyone can help move Peoria Forward.
