A typical day in my life includes… Working with the most beautiful dresses made by human hands. I love having brides come in to find their dream dress. It feels like having friends over to play in my closet.
My favorite thing about living/working in the (Desert Ridge or Deer Valley) area is… There is so much out here and it is so easy to get to. I can step out of the shop and I have the most amazing view of the high deserts to the North and Squaw Peak to the South.
Your favorite movie you could never get tired of watching and why… Singing in the Rain – It is just such a feel good movie and I enjoy watching movies from the Golden Age of Hollywood. I love the dresses that came from the era as well and it is so great that these styles are back in fashion.
My family… Is a group of the most amazing people I have ever met. They are supportive, loving and I have so much to learn from each one of them.
The business lesson I learned the hard way is… Everything will cost twice as much and take twice as long as you think it will.
One thing I cannot live without… Regular mani/pedis and Halo ice cream.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… A Nurse

The one person who motivates me is… My husband, Tim. He keeps me positive and moving forward.

The perfect day would be… Walking around with my husband arm-in-arm and just enjoying the day.

My life… Is happy and content. I have achieved the major things in life that I wanted to but I still have a sense of growing and having more that I want to do.
I’m currently working on… My own line of wedding dresses. No pressure…;)
The best gift I’ve ever received was… When I was 12 my parents gave me a horse. I had been training for years to ride and wanted one with all my heart.

My dream vacation would be to… Any resort that had those thatched huts over the water.
My words of wisdom to aspiring business owners… Have patience and perseverance. It is going to be the hardest thing you have ever done and there is no guarantee that you will succeed. But, you don’t drown until you stop swimming.
