My company and title is… Keller Williams Realty Sonoran Living, I’m a sales associate in Arizona and a Broker in California.

A typical day in my life includes… Up at 3 a.m., hitting the gym, then breakfast and off to the office to return emails/calls, and prospect for leads on people needing help solving their real estate problems.

My favorite thing about living/working in the North 32nd area is… I’m close to my granddaughters, ages five and 11. Also, this area is convenient to the airport, sporting events and biking.

My favorite movie I could never get tired of watching and why… I have a few including Rudy, Lone Survivor, Thank You for Your Service, and Only the Brave. I’m a huge Notre Dame fan and my son calls me a recovering Marine.

My family… Means everything to me, especially the little ones. The older I get the more I realize how important they are.

The business lesson I learned the hard way is…You need to be out meeting people and helping them.

One thing I cannot live without… DQ Ice Cream

When I was younger, I wanted to be… A high school coach.

The song I would sing at Karaoke night is… Notre Dame Victory March, or, I’m Gonna Love You Forever and Ever by Randy Travis.

The one person who
motivates me is… Lou Holtz and Gary Keller.

The last thing that made me laugh out loud was… My little granddaughter had a little doll and I asked her what the dolly’s name was. She answered “Merida,” so I thought I’d tease her. I asked her, “Mathusola?” and she said “No Grandpa….Merida!”
I said to her again, “Magnolia?” and she leans in, thinking I’m hard of hearing and says, “No Grandpa, Merida!!”
I tried it again and said, “Miranda”? She looks at me and says, “Grandpa you’re dc(k)less!” In total shock, I said, “Excuse me?!” and she tells me again, “You’re dc(k)less Grandpa!”
I look over to my wife who’s in tears and she says,”I think she means ridiculous.”

The perfect day would be… Helping someone less fortunate than me.

My first job was… Picking walnuts and delivering papers.

My life… Has been an adventure. I’ve been married for 48+ years to my high school sweetheart and we have two great kids and two fabulous grandkids.

I’m currently working on… Being a better husband, father and grandfather, as well as an inspiration to others.
The best gift I’ve ever
received was… My life & family. I’ve been blessed with so many things and opportunities that would never have happened if not for them.

The actor I would want to play me in a movie of my life is… Donnie Wahlberg from Blue Bloods. He’s quick witted, ‘salty’ and loves life.

My dream vacation would be to… Travel to WWII places with my family and pay my respects to those that have made my adventure possible. Places like Normandy, Herkin Forest and others where great battles took place.

My words of wisdom to
aspiring business owners…No matter how tough or dismal things look, NEVER give up. Keep working hard and chasing your dreams and goals! Things are earned, not given!
