A TYPICAL DAY IN MY LIFE INCLUDES… I’m a crack of dawn riser – I like being able to beat rush hour traffic. I also practice what I teach. So, each day starts with a pilot meal coursing through my veins. Want to learn what this is? You’ll have to read the Exergenic Nutrition chapter in my new book.

Then I get down to business with a ménage à trois of multitasking activities; from curating online courses to checking book orders, to storyboarding and scripting episodes, and screening featured guest-exerciser applications. On a daily basis, I help clients build fitness life skills.
By mid-day, I switch to single dad mode. I pick up my daughter from school which has a great swim program, in which she’s a school record holder.

The amazing melting pot of people and occupations I get to work with. You name it, I’ve pretty much either been the FitPro for the least likely of suspects and from all ages 19 to 90, and from every economic strata and recognizable household names from the former Ice Capades Monday Night Football and a CLIO Award winner.

THE ONE PERSON WHO MOTIVATES ME… Elon Musk. His outside the box worldview aligns with mine. Think BIG and abundantly.
THE LAST THING THAT MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD… The reaction I get when I tell people about my hobby of being a lepidopterist. I raise and collect investment grade butterflies and moths. The guffaw on faces I often get is priceless.

MY FIRST JOB WAS… Working at the on-campus nuclear reactor while at the University of Kansas. I was in charge of the mold and spore labs. My job was to sterilize and purify lab equipment for various radiation experiments. The pay was outer worldly, but the job ended when I showed up for work only to discover that there had been a meltdown.

I’M CURRENTLY WORKING ON… An author tour called Let Me Hear Your Body Talk and a YouTube channel The Non-Exerciser’s Guide TV. It’s a bare feet and boot straps fitness life skills channel dedicated to showcasing featured guest exercisers who are either fitness un-fascinated or are facing fitness life skill challenges, which as their guide I resolve.

Each episode offers up originally mastered lesson plans created around the fitness issue at hand. My solution converts their exercise effort into ongoing equity and windfall. Viewers are able to buy, use and learn from fascinating lesson plans. Their purchase accrues a whopping 8% equity that gets placed into their own unique fitness savings account. At the end of each calendar year of channel participation with me or the show, all subscribers are able to withdraw or roll over their accumulated account balance. Can you say “LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE!”?

In conjunction to the above, I am also introducing an app called Fitpro at Work which enables health coaches, personal trainers and exercise instructors and those interested in becoming a FitPro to build their fitness career in a frictionless way using a career activation key and universal cloud-based ranking system.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE I COULD NEVER GET TIRED OF WATCHING AND WHY… It’s a three way tie The Matrix, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and James Bond (Sean Connery). Hey, I’m eclectic.

THE BUSINESS LESSON I LEARNED THE HARD WAY… Don’t put all of your entrepreneurial eggs in one basket.

MY DREAM VACATION WOULD BE… an insect expedition for investment grade beetles, butterflies and moths. Most people don’t know that I’m an avid Lepidopterist and bug man. Whatever vacation I go on, I take time out to collect amazing bug flora and fauna on my travels. Arizona is one of just two states with the greatest biodiversity of vivid butterflies and moths. Texas is number one.
