A Valley Mexican food staple, Someburros just announced the opening of a new location on the Southwest corner of Jomax Road and Norterra Parkway, just north of the Shops at Norterra. A spokesperson for the restaurant chain confirmed that the new location is set to open this coming winter.

Someburros is a locally owned and family-operated group of restaurants that is committed to consistently creating delicious authentic Sonoran-style Mexican food throughout the Valley.

“Someburros’ menu highlights recipes using only the best quality and freshest ingredients that have been passed down from generation to generation in the Vasquez family,” according to the restaurant group. “Co-founded by George and Mary Vasquez in 1986, Someburros opened their first location in Tempe on Baseline Road and Mill Avenue and since then has expanded to Mesa, Chandler, Queen Creek, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Central Phoenix, and Flagstaff.”

Dedicated to fast-casual service and quality, made-to-order food, the North Phoenix location will offer Someburros’ signature counter service that will accommodate to-go and walk-up orders as well as welcoming indoor and outdoor dining areas for guests to dine-in and enjoy their meals together. The upcoming location will also have an additional quick service option with a convenient drive-thru for on-the-go customers.

Someburros North Phoenix will be the fifteenth location for the restaurant group.

“With a 35-year history in the Valley, Someburros is thrilled to share their famous made-from-scratch burros, signature burritos, tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas and more with the North Phoenix community,” according to the restaurant group.

Someburros plans to open locations in Peoria and Goodyear later this year as well; details on those locations are still in the works.
