Mesquite Fresh Street Mex, the rapidly expanding concept specializing in inventive and modern Mexican cuisine, is on a mission to bring its real street tacos to organizations throughout the Valley for free. To further connect with the Phoenix business community, the family-owned restaurant recently launched the Free Taco Tour and will distribute 10,000 tacos at four of its Valley locations—including the North Phoenix locale—for a total of 40,000 tacos given away in 2021.

Now through January 2022, businesses located within a four-mile radius of the Happy Valley Mesquite location (1730 W. Happy Valley Road) can sign up for the signature Mercedes Mesquite Taco Tour vans to deliver tacos to its employees. Businesses need to complete the application on the Mesquite website and indicate the desired date and time and number of employees they can expect. The program is limited to groups of 30 to 100 and each tasting will last one hour.
“The Free Taco Tour was launched to support neighboring organizations at a few of our Mesquite locations,” says Ahmad Alatrash, co-founder of Mesquite Fresh Street Mex. “As we expand our brand in Arizona, we look forward to connecting with residents and sharing our authentic meets modern Mexican concept with the neighborhood. The Free Taco Tour allows us to give back to the community in a fun way and bring our famous street tacos to people who live and work in the area.”

Mesquite Fresh Street Mex, formally Mr. Mesquite Tacqueria, is on an aggressive growth path opening four new locations in the last year with more on the horizon. Founded by brothers Naser and Ahmad Alatrash, the Mesquite brand specializes in bringing Mexican street food to neighborhoods across the Valley and generating jobs for dozens of residents.
