We welcome North Tatum Times to our community. Communication is our best avenue to information. Our objective is to tell the readers about our great community and discuss real estate.Where else can you live within minutes of Mayo Clinic, Musical Instrument Museum (MIM), the masterful Desert Ridge Marriott and Wildfire Golf Course (with courses designed by Arnold Palmer and Nick Faldo), the Desert Ridge Marketplace and High Street with a plethora of restaurants, shopping, services and medical offices? We’re also freeway close to the 101 and 51 which opens-up yet another world.
The Desert Ridge Community Association (DRCA)is efficiently run by Terrance Smith, Community General Manager and Doug Dickson, President of the DRCA Board and their teams. Under their leadership, our fees have been kept low while the community is beautifully maintained with wonderful growth. For years, they’ve kept our fees to $186.00 bi-annually for every homeowner. The DRCA quarterly publishes Desert Ridge Lifestyles, a magazine chock full of community information. The TIMES will be a wonderful addition to Lifestyles with a monthly publication.
Desert Ridge offers a wide variety of housing opportunities in every size, shape and price range. We have lofts on HIGH STREET, apartments, condominiums, a Resort Style condominium complex, and many single-family homes. We have communities within Desert Ridge that offer their own amenities (pool, community centers, tennis) governed by their own home owner associations – and other areas (both gated and ungated) that are communities without separate facilities. There is something for every budget and lifestyle.
In future issues, we will discuss various aspects of a real estate transaction, the local market, Block Watch and any other related topics we’re asked about… from a Realtor’s perspective.
