As textbooks close and school halls empty for summer, Park West is inviting families to an exuberant start to summer with the Bubbles and Bass Family Dance Party. The event, marking the first day of summer break for Peoria Unified School District students, will be held on Thursday, May 23, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This family-friendly extravaganza is free to attend and will transform the splash pad area at Park West into a dance floor filled with music, bubbles, and joy. A live DJ will spin family-friendly hits, while bubble machines add a touch of whimsy to the summer air. To the delight of young attendees, complimentary photos with the Little Mermaid will capture the magical moments, along with a vibrant Funergy show that’s sure to entertain.

Adding to the excitement, the first 200 guests will be treated to their very own bubble blaster—perfect for continuing the bubbly fun all summer long.

Local businesses at Park West are pitching in with celebratory spirit, offering special promotions during the event. Favorites like Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream and F45 are among those providing buy one, get one deals, making it a perfect evening for families to dine, dance, and indulge.
