A fresh and innovative option for Jewish summer camp is now available for families who are seeking a holistic approach to learning. Menachem Mendel Academy (MMA) is launching its first annual summer camp to offer expanded programming to Jewish children in Scottsdale.
Camp Geulah by Menachem Mendel Academy will launch this summer for Jewish children ages 3 – 6. Throughout camp, children will experience learning and enrichment for the body, mind, and soul, but in a setting filled with so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re learning.
Enrichment Experiences at MMA Include:
Body: The camp includes organic, plant-based meals and snacks that are made fresh from scratch daily in the school’s onsite kosher kitchen. Children will also have play-based exercise throughout each day.
Mind: Campers will learn Hebrew in a fun, integrated methodology. Camp counselors will teach new Hebrew words daily and have the children practice and use the words throughout each week. The goal is for the children to finish the summer with a familiarity of a second language and ability to use the words and phrases in daily conversation.
Soul: Children will have their souls nourished through daily Jewish learning, singing fun songs, and participating in activities that will develop pride in their Jewish identity, love of all Jews, and love of the land of Israel.
