On September 15, an extraordinary blend of culinary delights and stunning interior designs will grace the Scottsdale Stadium as the Arizona North Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) presents Crossing Palettes. For one night only, top ASID designers will join forces with local master chefs to curate an immersive pop-up restaurant experience, offering guests a tantalizing fusion of food, design, and entertainment, all to benefit the Phoenix Dream Center.

Starting at 6 p.m. and culminating at 9 p.m., this exclusive event will pair eight leading interior designers with eight seasoned chefs, allowing each duo to craft a restaurant space around the chef’s seasonal menu. These bespoke spaces will be unveiled to the public, ensuring an evening not to be forgotten.

For a ticket price of $150, attendees will be treated to an array of appetizers, desserts, unlimited bites from all participating eateries, and two drink tickets for their preferred beverage. In addition, guests can enjoy an interactive meet-and-greet with the designers and chefs, lively outdoor games, and a live band, making it a full evening of fun. For those feeling lucky, a wine pull and exclusive luxury package auction will also be part of the night’s attractions.

Guests will also play a pivotal role in awarding the People’s Choice Award, as they’ll be given the chance to vote for their favorite design. A panel of expert judges will evaluate which team best executed their vision in harmony with their chef.

Participating in this year’s lineup are esteemed chefs from establishments such as Copper State Pizza, Liz’s Modern Asian, Taco Central, and AZ Flavor’s Catering, paired with renowned designers like Design Expressions, Meg Behrens Design, and Blue Sky Homes.

“As you step inside our Italian restaurant’s charming patio, you’ll be swept into an ambiance reminiscent of Italy itself, enhanced by the aroma of wood-fired pizza,” says Design Expressions’ Barbara Moseley, about the pop-up restaurant she’s helping to create with Copper State Pizza. “We support this amazing charity, The Phoenix Dream Center, and share our designs for an authentic Italian experience.”
The Phoenix Dream Center, a Valley nonprofit, stands at the heart of the event’s cause, dedicated to combating human trafficking, nurturing future leaders, and eliminating childhood hunger. More about their vital work can be found at phoenixdreamcenter.org.

Tickets can be purchased at the Scottsdale Stadium entrance, located at 7408 E. Osborn Rd. Only credit or debit cards are accepted. The event is strictly for those aged 21 and over, with ID checks at entry. For additional queries, reach out at [email protected]. To purchase tickets online, visit tinyurl.com/crossing-palettes.
