People from all over the nation travel to Arizona to enjoy the beautiful spring weather, sunny skies and the best golf courses. Lucky for us, we don’t have to go anywhere to find perfect golf because it is right in our own backyard. Desert Foothills Library is hosting their 25th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, giving Valley residents a great excuse to play a round of golf while supporting the local community.

Desert Foothills Library is hosting the charity golf tournament on Monday, May 10 at Desert Forest Golf Club, located at 37207 N. Mule Train Road in Carefree. All interested participants must register by Monday, April 19. However, space is limited, so sign up as soon as possible.
The entrance fee is $250 per person ($200 of this fee is tax deductible) or $50 to participate as a scorekeeper. The money will go to supporting the library and the event includes 18 holes of golf, prizes, on-course beverages, snacks and Grab-n-Go meals for all attendees.

If you prefer not to golf, there are still many ways to support the library during this event. Interested community members can register as a scorekeeper, become a sponsor, or bid on the online auction items. The funding and support of this event will help the library continue to provide meaningful, life-long learning opportunities for the Foothills children, teens, adults and seniors.

For registration, sponsorship information or to make a tax-deductible donation, visit dfla.org or call 480-488-2286. Contact Anne Johnson, Desert Foothills Library Executive Director, at [email protected] for more information on the charity golf tournament.
