Desert Ridge Marketplace is gearing up for an effervescent celebration to kick off the summer season. Scheduled for Saturday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Bubble Bash promises a host of sudsy fun for the whole family. This free event will take place throughout The District, promising two hours packed with unique and interactive activities.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of bubble-themed stations, including an Overflowing Foam Zone at The Splash Pad, conveniently located near AMC Theatres. This special area will offer kids and adults alike a chance to get drenched in foam, adding a cool respite as the temperatures begin to climb.
One of the highlights of the Bubble Bash is the Kid In A Bubble experience, where participants can stand inside a giant bubble, perfect for a fun photo opportunity. Additionally, guests can tap into their creative side by crafting their own bubble wands, available while supplies last.
The event will also feature educational activities like Bubble Chemistry, where attendees can learn about the science behind bubbles, and Bubble Art, where the young and young at heart can create art using bubbles as a medium. For those looking to take some of the bubbly fun home, the Bubble Shop will offer a variety of bubble toys for purchase.
For an immersive experience, the event spans from the AMC Theatres all the way to the Barnes & Noble Courtyard, allowing guests to wander and enjoy the festivities at their own pace. No check-in is required, and there is no set path, providing a flexible and personal adventure for every visitor.
