Chandler’s Family Easter Celebration is setting the stage for an unforgettable spring event on Friday, March 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park’s Stage Plaza.

The park, located at 178 E. Commonwealth Ave., will transform into an entertaining Easter trail dubbed the 24 Karrot Trail, where children up to 9 years old can collect eggs and goodies. The excitement multiplies with the possibility of finding a Golden Karrot hidden along the path, which guarantees a special prize. Participants are reminded to bring their baskets and join the fun — the trail stays open as long as the eggs last.

The celebration features more than just the trail. From free inflatable attractions and carnival games with prizes to spinning a prize wheel for surprises, the evening is packed with activities. While some children’s activities and photos with the Easter Bunny have minimal charges, the event also offers a variety of food and beverage options for purchase.
Kicking off the entertainment schedule at 5:45 p.m. is the announcement of the coloring contest winners. Children are invited to showcase their creativity in the coloring contest, with entries due by March 25. Winners will be chosen from various age categories and celebrated during the event.

This is followed by captivating shows from local dance and arts groups, including Studio 3 Performing Arts Academy, Desert Star Dance, and the Chandler High School Modazz Dance Company. The finale will be a family Easter basket giveaway, with the winner announced at 7:40 p.m.

Families can visit the Information Booth to enter to win the Family Easter Basket — one ticket per family member is permitted, and the lucky family must be present during the draw to claim their basket full of Easter delights.
