New Brands
Are you up to date with the lineup of new brands coming to Desert Ridge Marketplace? Flip Flop Shop, Artichoke Basille’s Pizza, Cartel Roasting Co., and Nordstrom Rack will all be joining the center’s collection of destinations.
This June, Flip Flop Shop, a local, family- and veteran- owned company, will open in Desert Ridge near H&M and Journeys. Flip Flop Shop offers popular brand name footwear for all ages. Find comfortable, stylish summer shoes including Birkenstocks, Havaianas, and Quiksilver.
Artichoke Basille’s, a New York-style pizza concept, is slated to open late summer next door to Copper Blues in The District. The 4,510 square-foot space will feature a trendy atmosphere complete with a large patio and will dish signature pizzas including the famous Artichoke Pie. Enjoy other delicious offerings including sips, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
Cartel Roasting Co. and Nordstrom Rack will also be making their way to Desert Ridge Marketplace this fall. Cartel Roasting Co. will be located near The Splash Pad and Nordstrom Rack will be opening between PetSmart and Kohl’s.

On Friday, June 17, from 6 – 8 p.m., get ready for takeoff and celebrate the release of “Lightyear” at AMC Desert Ridge 18 with the ultimate launch party in The District. Snap a free photo with your favorite toy spaceman and enjoy live entertainment at The District Stage, laser tag competitions, giveaways, and more.
On Friday, July 23 from 6-8 p.m., take it back to the 80s at the 80s Mad Science Party. Gear up for a full Back to the Future Experience including crazy experiments, 80s costume contest and dance party, free photo opp with a DeLorean Time Machine, make-and-take slime craft, and back to school giveaways.
Looking for a fun way to stay fit this summer? Desert Ridge Marketplace partners with Nike Unite and your favorite fitness brands to host Sunset Sweat with Nike. Try different fitness formats on select Tuesdays this summer from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., including HIIT by Eat The Frog Fitness on June 28, Yoga by Radi8 Hot Yoga on July 26, and Pilates by Reformed Pilates on August 23.
Plus, The District will feature an all-new art series starting in July called Fine Art Fridays. Shop creations from favorite local artists and enjoy live entertainment, an outdoor bar, art demonstrations and more every third Friday of the month from 5 – 9 p.m.
Also, on view this summer, escape the scorching summer sun and stroll in shady relief under hundreds of vibrant umbrellas in The District at Umbrella Pop.
