The Scottsdale Philharmonic is excited to announce its musical lineup for their upcoming Independence Day concert on Sunday, June 30, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This celebratory event will take place at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church, located at 6300 E. Bell Rd., in Scottsdale.

“We encourage classical music lovers to get their tickets today for this event to kick off the Independence Day holiday week,” says Executive Director of the Scottsdale Philharmonic Joy Partridge.

Concert tickets start at $20. Tickets are free and available online for students, active military, and veterans.

Guest conductor Dana Graybeal will lead the orchestra in a program filled with patriotic and classical favorites. The concert will feature a variety of stirring pieces, including the national anthem, “God Bless America,” Sondheim’s “West Side Story” medley, and many more.

“La Casa de Cristo is a beautiful venue with the capacity to seat 1,200 guests and plenty of free parking,” Partridge notes.

The Scottsdale Philharmonic aims to provide accessible classical music to the community. They offer live streaming of all concerts, affordable ticket prices, and free tickets for students and active military or veterans. Additionally, those who need financial assistance can also attend at no cost.

Despite ticket sales contributing to only 30% of the Philharmonic’s expenses, the organization relies heavily on the generosity of individual donors to cover the remaining costs.

Tickets for the Independence Day concert range from $20 to $35 and are available for purchase online at scottsdalephilharmonic.com.
