Valentine’s Day mini golf and socially safe fun for the family

Love is in the air this month, and there are many opportunities to fall for what’s happening at Desert Ridge Marketplace. Guests will be treated to free, festive, socially distant fun all month long.

Get your game face on and head out “fore” mini golf. Teed Up in 2021 allows guests to putt around Desert Ridge Marketplace for a free, fun, safely spaced mini golf experience near AMC Theatres inside The District. Test your skills at the nine-hole, neon-lit mini golf course and peek at the back of your scorecard for exclusive offers from Desert Ridge Marketplace retailers and restaurants. Clubs, balls and pencils will be provided at no cost, as well as a nearby sanitization station to make gameplay as safe as possible. Teed Up in 2021 is completely free to play and open on weekends through March 21. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 4-10 p.m. and Sundays from 1-6 p.m. Learn more at shopdesertridge.com/golf.

Grab the one you love and head to The District near H&M and Victoria’s Secret PINK to snap a pic and send hearts aflutter. The Love Shot art installation will feature hanging hearts and a neon Cupid’s arrow, perfect for your Valentine’s Day selfie or photo shoot with your Galentine or significant other. Love Shot is the perfect stop on your Valentine’s Day date as you dine at restaurants like Thirsty Lion, Barrio Queen or The Keg.

While you’re there, stroll through The District to see an array of eye-popping window art displays. Artscapes, a window wonderland of ultra-bright art installations featuring illuminated ice cream cones, pouring paint and more, is on view now. Artscapes is best viewed at sunset. Snap shots of the eight window art installations and tag Desert Ridge Marketplace on social media — @desertridge.

As always, Desert Ridge Marketplace will feature some of the Valley’s hottest local bands every Friday and Saturday. This month, enjoy the sounds of Plan B-3, The Flare, Wide Awake, Serena Nicolle, Frosty & The Silver Tones and more at The District Stage, located near Dave & Buster’s in The District.
Exciting tenants are always on the horizon at Desert Ridge Marketplace. In March, the shopping center will welcome Spencer’s, the one-stop shop for funny gifts, unique fashion finds and accessories. Located near American Eagle and Victoria’s Secret PINK in The District, Spencer’s is the destination for quirky gifts that won’t break the bank.

“Desert Ridge Marketplace is all about keeping things fresh and fun in 2021,” says Katie Hauptman, marketing manager at Desert Ridge Marketplace. “Between mini golf, art installations and new tenants, our shopping center is the perfect destination for your Valentine’s Day date night and one-stop shop for all of your gifting needs this season.”
