Recognized statewide as the highest-attended single day event with 100,000 attendees, the Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe will take its traditional two-mile march through Central Phoenix, on Sat., Dec. 17, at 10 a.m.
This year marks the 50th edition of the Fiesta Bowl Parade and, in tribute to the incredible legacy built by citizens from Arizona, the theme for the Fiesta Bowl Parade is “Legends Made Here.”

More than 85 entries and a combination of more than 3,000 men, women, children and animals participate annually in the Fiesta Bowl Parade, which features various brilliantly colored floats, giant balloons, antique cars, equestrian units, charitable groups, local celebrities, marching bands, and more.

The Fiesta Bowl once again invites and encourages groups to submit an application and be one of those selected entries by Mon., Sept. 26, 2022, to be a part of the parade.

For the second straight year, the Fiesta Bowl Parade will enjoy the spotlight of its own day, marching down Central Avenue two weeks prior to the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl. Admission is free to the public with premium and reserved seating available for sale at $30 in early October. The parade is broadcast live on Arizona’s Family 3TV, online, and through the AZFamily app.

Grand marshals for this year’s parade will be announced in September. With a theme of “Gold Standard: A Commitment to CommUNITY,” in honor of the organization’s impact and support to bring Arizona communities together for 50 years, the Fiesta Bowl Founders and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper served as grand marshals in 2021. Other celebrated grand marshals have included Charles Barkley, Jerry Colangelo, Randy Johnson, Cal Ripken, Jr., Kerri Strug, Diana Taurasi, and history-making astronauts.
