Hi, my name is… Jennifer Muff, ARNP, owner and practitioner at Moxi Medical Associates (moximedicalassociates.com).
I’ve lived in North Scottsdale for four years and I love it because… I have everything I need near me—shopping for retail therapy, great restaurants, entertainment, and the Tonto National Forest. We have the best of both worlds with having entertainment, dining, and nature nearby.

A typical day in my life includes… Successfully juggling my workday! I manage my own practice, Moxi Medical Associates, and have an office staff of two, so there are always things to do. This typically includes patient visits, charting, billing, phlebotomy, marketing, accounts receivable, and more. I also try to get time with family and friends.

My family is… busy! My three children live in Iowa along with my grandchildren, who are twins. I also have another grandson coming into this world who is due on June 2. I travel to Iowa every month to see my children and grandchildren as well as see patients at my practice located there. This keeps me very busy, but I would not change it for anything! I also have some family here in Arizona that I love to also spend time with.

One thing I cannot live without is… My dog Louie, who is a toy Schnauzer. He loves to snuggle, which is so calming to me after my workday.

My favorite movie I could never get tired of watching and why… “Bridesmaids.” No matter how many times I watch this movie I always laugh. Laughter is the best medicine.

When I was younger, I wanted to be… A coroner until my grandfather passed away in my early 20s; that was really the first death I had dealt with. I feel things worked out for the best though as I love what I do.

The song I would sing at Karaoke night is… Any Stevie Nicks’ song.

The people who motivate me are… My children and family, my boyfriend, and my patients. They all encourage be to be better and to try my best every day.

The last thing that made me laugh out loud was… Watching my twin grandchildren dance to “Hot Potato” by the Wiggles.

The perfect day… Would include sleeping in, coffee outside on the patio, out to eat for lunch, reading time, spending time with my grandkids and children, then watching TV in bed while relaxing.

My life is… Full. I have great family and friends who bring me joy and happiness. My professional life is very rewarding as well.

My dream vacation would be… Being able to travel to Europe to complete the trip I planned right before the pandemic! It is all about experiencing diverse cultures and foods. Best of all, I love traveling with my family.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever received… “Let go and let God.” Not everything is within our control.
