Pickleball enthusiasts rejoice! Horizon Park’s pickleball court renovation is complete. The project, which was funded through the Scottsdale Parks and Recreation capital improvements funds, completely resurfaced the eight existing courts and expanded the park to 10 courts.

Renovations included installing a post-tension concrete base, which will add more than 30 years of new life span to the courts. Additionally, new LED lights were installed that will provide a more even level of light for playing and substantial energy savings.

Horizon Park is located at 15380 N. 100th Street in North Scottsdale. In addition to the ten courts at Horizon Park, Scottsdale also offers drop-in pickleball play at Cholla Park, 11320 E. Via Linda, and Thompson Peak Park, 20199 N. 78th Place. All three locations are open from sunrise to 10:30 p.m. daily.
