The Kiwanis Club of Carefree is calling on local organizations, businesses, and individuals to propose significant community projects, with potential funding starting at $50,000. The initiative, aimed at bolstering youth development programs in the Cave Creek/Carefree area, will accept submissions until June 1.

A newly formed Major Community Project/Funds Committee is tasked with reviewing all proposals. The primary stipulation for funding consideration is alignment with the club’s mission of enhancing the potential of children within the community, along with supporting the Kiwanis Carefree’s established goals and objectives.
Interested parties are encouraged to detail their project proposals through an online form available at kiwaniscarefree.org/community-project-request. This digital submission streamlines the process, ensuring a fair and efficient review.

“The projects we fund are more than just investments in the community; they are investments in the future of our children,” says a spokesperson for the Kiwanis Club of Carefree. “We are looking for innovative ideas that can make a substantial impact on the lives of young people in our area.”

The Kiwanis Club of Carefree is renowned for its commitment to children’s welfare, with over 150 members making it one of the largest Kiwanis clubs globally. The club’s efforts include providing scholarships for post-secondary education, supporting summer art programs, assisting youths with special needs, and backing various service organizations.
