Things are buzzing this February at Park West entertainment destination in Peoria. The center continues to add new tenants, providing even more services and opportunities for nearby residents. Park West is also participating in some great events dedicated to the arts and love.

On Saturday, Feb. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m., guests are invited to celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Park West Love Walk. Love birds (and those who love to shop!) can enjoy an evening of shopping and dining set to the lovely music of a strolling violinist and receive a complimentary flower. Guests can also take a selfie in front of the lit up ‘love’ sign and post it on their social media page for a chance to win two complimentary movie tickets to Harkins Theatres every month for an entire year. To be eligible, guests must create a static post (not a story) via social media (it must be a public page) and include #shopparkwest.

Park West is pleased to announce that StretchLab will be joining the center. A unique wellness concept, StretchLab offers customized assisted-stretch sessions in small group or one-on-one settings. Led by a trained Flexologist who guides guests through a series of stretches specific to their needs, group stretches are limited to six participants at a time. One-on-one sessions can help individuals further customize their needs, focusing on problem areas or targeting certain muscle groups. There are many benefits of a professional-assisted stretching routine, including improved sports performance, increased range of motion and flexibility, decreased joint pain, improve posture, and reduced stress—not to mention a great stretch! A 50-minute session provides a deep and extensive full body stretch focused on all major muscle groups and extremities. A 25-minute maintenance session concentrates solely on major muscle groups to help alleviate muscle tightness.

Continuing its dedicated efforts to support the local arts community, Park West is participating in IN FLUX Cycle 10. IN FLUX brings together art, economic development, and property management organizations throughout Phoenix to develop opportunities for Arizona artists to create site-specific temporary public art installations in a variety of locations. Adding to Park West’s growing collection of public art, a mural by artist Lauren Lee will soon be on display at the center. Completion is expected by the end of March.
Also in March, and in further support of local arts, Park West serves as an event sponsor of the Peoria Arts & Cultural Festival. Held on March 26 in Old Town Peoria, the event supports the Peoria Unified School District. Lee will be at Park West’s booth during the event, signing autographs and painting a custom canvas that attendees can enter to win.

Park West strives to be a thriving destination that provides a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities as well as in-demand services for neighbors and visitors alike. To that end, the popular weekly Park West Market continues in February. Held Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the market features local vendors and live entertainment.
