Music lovers in Peoria have a reason to celebrate as the Music in March concert series returns to Paloma Community Park, offering a free musical extravaganza in an idyllic outdoor setting. Residents are invited to bring their blankets and chairs to enjoy the sounds of local musicians. The concert series kicks off on March 3 and continues every Sunday through March 24, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Music in March series has become a staple in the community, known for its diverse musical offerings that cater to all tastes. This year’s lineup is no exception, featuring a range of genres from pop and country to jazz and R&B.

The series opens with Velvet Road, a Phoenix band renowned for their captivating blend of pop, country, and rock ‘n’ roll. Their performance on March 3 is set to be a lively start to the series, sure to draw in audiences from across the Valley.

On March 10, Lisa Hightower will take the stage, bringing her high-energy performance to the park. Her powerful blend of jazz, blues, R&B, and soul is expected to transport audiences and have them grooving to the beat.

Mid-month, on March 17, Pete Pancrazi will grace the event with his talented vocals and guitar playing. Pancrazi is praised for his original compositions and his renditions of straight-ahead and Latin jazz classics, providing a soothing soundtrack to what promises to be a serene Sunday afternoon.

The series will close on March 24 with the vibrant sounds of Desert Dixie. This five-piece band, led by Arizona natives JT Hubbell and Cody Lynn, will showcase their range with hot new country tunes, country classics, original blues and rock pieces, and top 40 hits.

Music in March will feature an array of local food trucks, offering delicious eats and drinks for purchase during each concert. This combination of great music and great food creates the perfect family-friendly atmosphere for a Sunday outing.
