Cocktail connoisseurs now have a unique lounge to explore in Scottsdale. The Goose opened its doors on April 26 at the Mercado del Lago plaza, next to Crust Simply Italian at 8300 Hayden Rd.

The Goose revives the speakeasy experience with a beautifully renovated space that combines elegance and intimacy. Guests are welcomed into an atmosphere of intimate seating areas, candlelit tables, and décor that boasts Art Deco elements, including sleek geometric-patterned wallpaper, bold gold accents, and a black and white marbled floor. The lounge accommodates up to 42 guests, for a cozy and exclusive vibe.

The beverage program features classic cocktails such as the Vesper Martini, Clover Club, and Vieux Carré, along with innovative new creations by the skilled bar team. Highlights from the new offerings include:

The Down Comforter: Smoked Wagon bourbon, Amaro Lucano Anniversario, pistachio orgeat, and Australian coffee bitters.

OnlyFeathers: Platinum vodka, fresh passionfruit, and lemon juice, topped with Prosecco.

Take a Gander: Japanese whiskey, plum sake, pomegranate tea syrup, dry vermouth, and clarified milk punch.
In addition to a thoughtfully curated spirits selection that features whiskey flights and new pours, The Goose offers Goose Bumps—two shots of premium vodka accompanied by two portions of caviar, providing a unique tasting experience.

The food menu, crafted by Crust Simply Italian’s kitchen, includes a variety of unique shareable plates such as tangerine-spiced olives, fried calamari, a charcuterie board, select pizzas, and desserts.

“As a sister concept to The Ostrich and Blue Heron, you will see many similarities, however The Goose will stand on its own with many differences like the original decor, elevated wine list, separate food menu and of course some newly creative cocktails,” said Michael Merendino owner of Crust Restaurant Group.

The Crust Restaurant Group, which operates Crust Simply Italian restaurants, Crust Pizzerias, and two other cocktail lounges—The Ostrich and Blue Heron—owns and operates The Goose. This new venture expands the group’s portfolio to eight establishments, with additional openings planned in Mesa later this year, including another Crust Simply Italian, a dessert shop, and a cocktail bar.

The Goose is open Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight.
