In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s enduring dream of unity and service, the city of Peoria is set to host a special Day of Service. This event, dedicated to celebrating Dr. King’s legacy, will take place on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Peoria Community Center, located at 8335 W. Jefferson St.
