Gear up, riders! GO AZ Motorcycles in Peoria is hosting the 11th Annual Sedona Ride on Saturday, Aug. 26. With an 8 a.m. check-in time, prepare yourself for an adventure across the awe-inspiring terrain of Arizona.
The tradition-rich journey will take riders through the scenic landscapes of Wickenburg, Skull Valley, Prescott, Jerome, and Cottonwood. For the first time in the ride’s history, the route will explore a couple of uncharted roads, adding an element of excitement and novelty.
Riders will wrap up their journey in the Village of Oak Creek at the Collective Sedona, a one-of-a-kind hub that blends food, art, and culture. Here, they can choose from a variety of dining options onsite, including Dellepiane, Miley’s Cafe, Rotten Johnny’s, and the Decanter Tasting Room. A short roll north into town provides additional choices such as Pisa Lisa and Tortas de Fuego.
The Sedona Ride is designed as an intermediate level adventure. Riders can anticipate a moderately-paced sport touring ride, with some roads providing a challenging yet fun element. While the ride can intensify to advanced levels, it is set to cater to beginner and intermediate touring riders as well as cruisers and those riding two-up.
Participating riders need to be prepared for varying weather conditions. From potential cold and hot temperatures to possible rain and monsoon-like conditions, the ride promises a thrilling journey through diverse weather settings. The day-long excursion stretches roughly 168 miles from the starting point in Peoria to the endpoint in Sedona (actual mileage may vary).
