The Royal Palms Resort & Spa in Phoenix is adding a furry twist to holiday celebrations this year. Their annual Pawlidays event, set for Tuesday, Dec. 12, promises a blend of festive fun for both humans and their canine companions.

From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Royal Palms’ picturesque Vernadero Lawn, guests are invited to indulge in a unique ‘yappy hour.’ The event, themed “Eat, Drink + Be Merry,” will feature special treats from local pet favorite, Tugs & Tails, alongside festive sips for both pups and their owners. In addition to the drinks and treats, attendees can also shop for their furry friends at Spoiled Muttz, ensuring that every pet leaves with something special.
In a season of giving, the event also supports a noble cause. With a $10 donation to the Arizona Humane Society, attendees can capture holiday memories with a complimentary professional holiday photo featuring Santa Paws. This contribution aligns with the Humane Society’s mission to support vulnerable animals and enrich the lives of pets and people in Arizona.
Adding to the holiday spirit, the resort will offer an array of holiday-inspired cocktails for purchase, including the Jimmy’s holiday spiced sangria. For the four-legged guests, complimentary puptails such as Paw-lomas and Paw-tinis will be served, ensuring that every attendee, regardless of species, gets a taste of holiday cheer.
The Pawlidays event is more than just an occasion to relax and celebrate. It represents a community coming together to revel in the festive season while contributing to a meaningful cause. The Arizona Humane Society, renowned for their year-round efforts including wellness clinics, adoption events, and fundraisers, will benefit from the proceeds, aiding in their ongoing commitment to animal welfare.

The Royal Palms Resort and Spa is located at 5200 E. Camelback Rd., in Phoenix.
