The Scottsdale Jazz Festival is scheduled on April 27 at the newly refurbished Civic Center East Bowl. This year’s event promises to deliver a lineup of world-class artists curated by the International Jazz Day AZ Foundation in partnership with The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships.

The festival boasts an impressive artist lineup featuring renowned names in the jazz scene, including Grammy Award winner Norman Brown, Donald Harrison, Nayo Jones, Carlos Rivas, and more. From the smooth melodies of Kings of Soul Band to the captivating performances of Mario Abney and the electrifying tunes of DJ Peabody, attendees are in for a treat from start to finish.

Gates will open at 3 p.m., with live music kicking off at 4 p.m. and continuing until 10:30 p.m. The event schedule includes not only musical performances but also a fashion show produced by Phoenix Fashion Week and Brian Hill, showcasing the latest trends.

Located in Old Town Scottsdale, the Civic Center East Bowl offers a picturesque setting for attendees to enjoy an evening of jazz under the stars. Whether opting for VIP seating or general admission, guests will be treated to an auditory experience in the amphitheater-style venue.
In addition to the musical lineup, food and beverage vendors will be present. A dance floor invites guests to groove along to the rhythm, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout the evening.

Beyond the entertainment, the Scottsdale Jazz Festival holds a deeper purpose in promoting and preserving the rich heritage of jazz music. The International Jazz Day AZ Foundation, the festival’s organizing body, is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for aspiring musicians through music education initiatives and workshops. Led by Chairman William “Doc” Jones, a seasoned professional with over four decades of experience in the industry, the foundation strives to instill a greater appreciation for jazz among both practitioners and audiences.

Title sponsors Molina Fine Jewelers and Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale have joined forces to support this cultural celebration.
