Scottsdale 101 – aptly named for its location off Scottsdale Road and the Loop 101 – is one of the most popular spots for shopping, dining and entertainment in the North Valley. Boasting plenty of entertainment options, dozens of specialty shops, familiar big box stores and restaurants to satisfy any craving, it’s no wonder this mixed-use complex is in high demand.

Under the direction of YAM Properties, the real estate company owned by well-known businessman Bob Parsons, the center has enjoyed steady growth. All businesses in Scottsdale 101 are, of course, adhering to heightened sanitation and other preventative measures to do their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Most recently, popular franchise Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers opened in Scottsdale 101 and Goldfish Swim School is set to open this fall. The premier learn-to-swim facility is designed for children, ages 4 months to 12 years, to gain confidence and water safety through play-based learning.

Other recent openings have included a diverse mix of tasty restaurants and services such as Hot and Juicy Crawfish, Oralast Health and Wellness Oral Pathology Clinic, and Camp Bow Wow, an all-day dog daycare and boarding facility.

The popular Arizona gym, EOS Fitness, also opened a 37,000-square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art equipment, personal training services, group fitness classes and a cycling studio.

There is even more expansion on the horizon including a Starbucks drive-through, slated to open its doors early next year.

In addition to the new openings, several tenants have implemented remodels and rebranding efforts within the past year. While PINO, a quick-serve Italian eatery, added a new wine bar to its Scottsdale 101 location, the popular breakfast joint previously known as N’Counter, underwent a rebrand and is now Daily Jam.

In total, Scottsdale 101 is home to more than 50 diverse businesses including C2 Tactical, Escape Room 101, Cien Agaves and Bowlero, a 32-lane bowling alley complete with a restaurant, bar and arcade. And, of course, the iconic Harkins Theaters Cine Capri. This relocated, reincarnation of a classic Phoenix attraction continues to draw multitudes of moviegoers every night of the week.
