In a world filled with noise and chaos, finding moments of tranquility and self-discovery can seem like a daunting task. However, a unique form of therapy is offering women a serene oasis for healing and introspection. Finding Your Way Equine Guided Well-Being announces the launch of its third year of transformative Horse Meditation Circles, providing women with a powerful opportunity to connect with themselves and nature.

Harnessing the innate wisdom and calming presence of horses, the Horse Meditation Circles offer a sanctuary for women to unwind, release stress, and cultivate inner peace. Set in Cave Creek, amidst the picturesque backdrop of the Sonoran Desert, participants are invited to engage in calming meditation sessions led by experienced facilitators while surrounded by gentle equine companions.

“We believe in the profound healing power of the human-horse connection,” says Marry Livingston, LPC, co-founder of Finding Your Way Horse Meditation Circles. “Horses possess an instinctive ability to respond to our emotions and offer unconditional acceptance, making them ideal partners in our journey toward self-discovery and healing.”

Research has shown that interactions with horses can have a myriad of therapeutic benefits, including reduced anxiety, increased mindfulness, and improved emotional wellbeing. By integrating meditation practices with equine-assisted learning, the Horse Meditation Circles provide a holistic approach to healing that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.

“The response from participants has been overwhelmingly positive,” says Barb Hatton, LPC, a certified equine-assisted therapist and co-facilitator of the Horse Meditation Circles. “Many women have shared profound experiences of self-awareness and empowerment during our sessions, as they connect with the wisdom and gentle energy of the horses.”

The Horse Meditation Circles are open to women of all ages and backgrounds, with no prior experience with horses or meditation required. Each session is crafted to provide a safe and supportive environment for personal growth and exploration.
For those seeking refuge from the demands of modern life and a deeper connection with themselves and nature, the Horse Meditation Circles offer a transformative journey toward healing and renewal.

Horse Mediation Circles take place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., on two Saturdays, March 16 and April 6, in Cave Creek. Admission is $30 per person and limited to 10 individuals per session.
