The Chandler International Film Festival (CIFF), Arizona’s premier cinema event, is rolling out the red carpet for its eighth spectacular year. From January 19 to 28, the festival is set to dazzle with a showcase of over 130 films, bringing a world of stories to the heart of Chandler at the technologically advanced LOOK Dine-in Cinema.
Since its inception, CIFF has rapidly gained recognition as Arizona’s fastest-growing film festival, attracting a global audience and industry names alike. Past festivals have seen stars like Rob Schneider and Michelle Rodriguez, along with a host of acclaimed industry professionals, grace the event with their presence.

“It is such a pleasure to announce that the Eighth Annual Chandler International Film Festival will be back again in January,” says Mitesh Patel, CIFF president and festival director. “”We attribute our massive success these past few years to community support, and thanks to Arizonans, we’ll be able to extend this year’s festivities with an extra day to spotlight even more talented filmmakers.”

CIFF has become known not just for its film screenings, but for its immersive experience, offering attendees more than just movies. The festival will kick off with an opening night gala, followed by a series of educational filmmaking workshops, engaging panel discussions, and networking events that provide fans and filmmakers the chance to connect.

This year’s 10-day extravaganza will pay tribute to diverse cultures with themed days dedicated to Japanese, Spanish, Norwich, and Indian cinema. Attendees can look forward to a comprehensive slate of activities including daily after parties set against the vibrant backdrop of Downtown Chandler and opportunities to mingle with creative minds from across the globe.

To close the festival, a Hollywood-style red carpet event will set the stage for the eagerly anticipated award ceremony, celebrating the creative achievements of the participating filmmakers.

Film aficionados can expect the announcement of the selected films in the weeks to come. Passes for the full festival experience begin at $240 and are available for purchase on the CIFF Eventbrite page.

The Chandler International Film Festival, a nonprofit organization, has been a beacon of creativity and cinematic excellence. It stands as a testament to the thriving arts scene in Chandler and the festival’s commitment to nurturing independent film talent from around the world.
