The vibrant heart of Downtown Tempe remains bustling with the return of the 2nd Sundays on Mill series, a monthly outdoor event that promises a blend of shopping, music, entertainment, and family fun. Scheduled for the second Sunday of each month through April, this event transforms Mill Avenue, between 3rd Street and University, into a bustling marketplace.

At the core of 2nd Sundays on Mill is an outdoor market featuring over 70 local Arizona artisans, crafters, and makers, showcasing a range of homemade goods and unique gifts. The event, with free admission, is designed to be family-friendly and welcomes four-legged companions as well.

Each month, 2nd Sundays highlights a different theme. The event kicks off for the new year on January 14 from noon to 5 p.m. with a special focus on wellness. Visitors can engage in wellness-related experiences, activities, and presentations, all aimed at revitalizing and renewing for 2024.

Adding to the festive atmosphere are various activities and entertainment options:
• Zoni Girls Pop-Up Roller Skate Rink and Mini Golf for active fun.
• Performances by Furious Styles Crew and Tempe Community Arts.
• A Slow Flow Meditation session at 10:30 a.m. with Arizona Yoga Co.
• Tempe Public Library’s involvement, offering engaging activities.

Music is a significant part of the event, with a lineup of local artists performing throughout the day:
• From 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., enjoy the sounds of Tom Stitzer, Tara Lynn Walrus, and Sophia Bavishi.
• The afternoon continues from 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. with performances by Tindal Muzic, Sydney Swanson, and Haley Green.
• The event concludes from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. with Serena Nicolle, Sammi Martinez, and Solh.

The event will feature a variety of snack and drink vendors, including Britt’s Cafecito Y Chisme, Pearls Mini Donuts, and Sunset Freeze, ensuring that attendees have plenty of tasty options to choose from.
