Deer Valley, AZ – HALO Animal Rescue’s 20th Birthday Bash on Saturday, July 19th is the place to go if you’re looking to add a furry family member. The no-kill animal shelter will celebrate twenty years of rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding loving new homes for Phoenix’s large homeless pet population by offering low or no-cost dog and cat adoptions.

·       Dogs four months and older can be adopted for $20.

·       Cats four months and older can be adopted at no cost.

·       All puppies and kittens younger than four months will be available at regular adoption fees.

All animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. New adopters also receive 30 days of free pet insurance. Anyone interested in adopting will be required to go through HALO’s standard adoption matchmaking process.

HALO began as a home-based rescue in 1994, and has grown to be one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in Arizona, saving the lives of thousands of homeless dogs and cats each year.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to spend HALO’s twentieth birthday than by seeing lots of sweet, furry faces going home with happy new families,” comments Heather Allen, President and CEO of HALO.

“The very best part of what we do at HALO is matching up families with animals in need of a home. Sometimes people have very emotional reactions when they find that perfect dog or cat. You can see the connection between them. It’s very rewarding to be a part of that process,” says Allen.
