Thompson Thrift Retail Group (TTRG) just announce the highly anticipated addition of Harumi Sushi & Sake to the Sunrise Promenade project, located just south of the southeast corner of Lake Pleasant and Happy Valley Road.

“We are very excited to have Harumi join the line-up at Sunrise Promenade,” says Chris Hake, Senior Vice President and Director of the Southwest Region. “They will make a great addition to this project and the community with their unique and authentic cuisine, and we look forward to their opening in spring 2021.”

In 2013, Chef Y. Choi had a vision of bringing the highest quality authentic Japanese cuisine coupled with affordable pricing to Arizona. The first Harumi Sushi is located in Phoenix.

“Both chef and creator, above all else, an artisan of living and eating well, Harumi’s dishes are comprised of living and breathing expressions of Japanese tradition with modernity and are known for their use of forbidden rice and their daily shipments of non-frozen, fresh, wild-caught fish from different parts of the world,” according to the company. “Our customers vouch for Harumi’s sashimi quality, but extremely affordable price.”

Harumi Sushi & Sake has been consistently voted #1 for authentic Japanese cuisine in Arizona as well as the Metro Phoenix area. Harumi Sushi & Sake is looking forward to joining the community of Peoria and has plans to open by May.
