HI, MY NAME IS…Lynne D. Kitei, M.D.

I’VE LIVED IN PARADISE VALLEY FOR 30 YEARS AND I LOVE IT BECAUSE… PV is one of the most exquisite and beautiful places to live in all of Arizona, if not the world.

A TYPICAL DAY IN MY LIFE INCLUDES… after practicing medicine and medical communications since 1976, my life took an unusual turn in 1997 when I became a key witness to what has become the most witnessed, most documented and most important mass UFO events in modern history known worldwide as the “Phoenix Lights.” Since coming forward after seven years of anonymity in 2004, my typical day now is filled with researching, writing, and disseminating the intriguing and important information I have gathered and filmed concerning UAPs and unexplained phenomena through social media, podcasts, TV news, and international interviews, including the History, Travel, Discovery, Science, and National Geographic channels. It is truly a labor of love each and every day to raise awareness and help others wake up to the wondrous possibilities of our world and universe. MY FAMILY IS… my pride and joy.

ONE THING I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IS… enjoying precious time with my family and friends.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE I COULD NEVER GET TIRED OF WATCHING AND WHY IS… “Raising Arizona,” of course. I had the honor of playing the role of ‘Florence Arizona’ in the hit 20th Century Fox Coen Brother’s movie. And, it is such a fun film too!

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I WANTED TO BE… my childhood passion was performing as a singer/dancer/actor in professional musical theater, which I did through medical school. I also wanted to be involved in the education and medical fields, so after medical school I had the good fortune of combining my varied expertise to become the woman pioneer of medical communications (according to “TV Guide” in 1976) as the resident health reporter for NBC in Philadelphia, creating a health tips syndication that was airing on CBS in Phoenix when we moved here in 1980, started Health Team 12 at our own Phoenix NBC affiliate, and was the medical consultant at USA Cable in the 80s. I started my own company, Health Education Learning Programs, in 1985 to produce award winning, impactful classroom prevention/education videos and curricula concerning vital health issues such as substance abuse prevention, AIDS, and teen pregnancy, that were distributed by Discovery Education for many years. When the Phoenix Lights came into my life in 1995 and then thousands reported during the March 13, 1997, mass AZ UFO sighting what I had been witnessing and photographing on video and 35-mm prior to, during, and after the historic event, I felt obliged as both an experiencer, scientist, physician, and educator to share that vital issue. And now as a spokesperson and educator for the UAP topic, my life’s goals have been realized.
THE SONG I WOULD SING AT KARAOKE NIGHT IS… my favorite roles were playing ‘Maria’ in “West Side Story” and understudying Barbara Eden as ‘Maria’ in the “Sound of Music”. But if I had to choose one song, it would be “Somewhere.”

THE ONE PERSON WHO MOTIVATES ME IS… my wonderful husband.

THE LAST THING THAT MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD WAS… my grandchildren constantly make me laugh.

THE PERFECT DAY IS… spending time with my family.

MY FAVORITE LOCAL NONPROFIT IS… The Paradise Valley Women’s Association.

MY LIFE IS… a glorious adventure!

THE BEST GIFT I’VE EVER RECEIVED WAS… the gift of life.

MY DREAM VACATION WOULD BE… to cruise the world.

THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE I’VE EVER RECEIVED IS… “if you look for the good in others…you will find it.”
