Confetti poppers bursting, wine glasses clinking, and members of the Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce munching on tasty empanadas after oversized scissors had cut a red ribbon––this was the recent scene of an official greeting for Anthem Law at their new office.

A packed house for a ribbon cutting during the first monsoon of the season proved that the community has shown up for Sam Crump because he has routinely shown up for his community.

Crump describes himself as a “recovering politician” from his days as a mayor of Sebastopol, California, and state legislator as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, where he helped shape public policy. A local entrepreneur and law firm owner at Anthem Law, he helps clients solve problems in the areas of business, estate planning, family law, civil litigation, bankruptcy, and probate.

Crump presently serves on the boards of the Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Anthem, and ProMusica Arizona. It’s no wonder why he is the reigning Businessperson of the Year award winner.

Beyond his law firm, Crump also owns Sam’s Frozen Yogurt in Anthem, is a partner in local favorite food company Leila’s Empanadas, and is a dedicated health coach, helping people transform their lives. He took his over 30 years of leadership experience and knowledge to write a book titled Bullhorn Leadership to inspire leaders to communicate effectively, take action, and make a difference.

Crump and the team at Anthem Law have begun a new chapter of serving the community, highlighted by a festive ribbon cutting event for their new office location in Anthem, fittingly with wines served from Sonoma County where he was previously mayor, savory empanadas from Leila’s Empanadas, where he is a partner, and a lot of smiles. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko’s office highlighted the soiree by presenting Sam with a special certificate of Congressional Recognition for his community involvement. To know Crump is to witness his contagious spirit, humor, and desire to help others in building community. Now with a new office in the heart of town, his legacy of uplifting others has ample opportunity to continue growing.
