Mercury Mine Elementary School is gearing up for its highly anticipated Spring Fling and Silent Auction. Scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 24, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., this vibrant community event will be held at 9640 N. 28th St., in Phoenix. The event offers an afternoon of fun-filled activities suitable for the entire family and is free to attend.

The Spring Fling is an important fundraising event with a goal of $10,000. The funds raised will directly support various school programs, including teacher classroom expenses, STEAM initiatives, library resources, PE equipment, art supplies, supplemental music curriculum, and much more.

Attendees can look forward to activities including food trucks, carnival games, bounce houses, and a petting zoo. The highlight of the event is the silent auction, which features a wide array of items. Those unable to attend in person can still participate in the auction online, with the list of items available for preview on the school’s website at mercurymineptg.com.

The school is actively seeking in-kind donations, such as gift cards, physical items, and experiences for the auction. Businesses interested in supporting the event can also take advantage of various sponsorship opportunities. These include sponsoring specific attractions like a bounce house or a petting zoo, or other creative ideas. Sponsors and donors will receive recognition on the school’s social media platforms, website, and in all marketing materials for the event. Additionally, there’s an opportunity for businesses to display banners and signs at the event, subject to approval.

The Mercury Mine Parent-Teacher Group (PTG), a nonprofit organization, ensures that all proceeds from the event are reinvested into the school and its students, enhancing their educational experience.
