Mercy Care has launched a limited video series called “Everyone Deserves Access to Quality Healthcare” to provide valuable information for the health and wellbeing of individuals, especially seniors. This nine-episode series is now available on Mercy Care’s YouTube channel.

The video series was produced by Emmy award-winning journalist Carey Pena at Inspired Media 360 and features community partners across the state who support and provide health and wellness programs for seniors.

“Alongside representatives from Mercy Care, community partners such as Benefit ResultsContextureMaricopa Area Agency on AgingJackson WhitePima Council on Aging, and Mercy Housing, talk extensively about such important topics as suicide prevention, long-term care assistance, housing insecurity, and having difficult conversations with loved ones,” said Tad Gary, Mercy Care’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

Since 1985, Mercy Care has provided access to quality healthcare for individuals eligible for Medicaid, Medicare and state and federal grant-funded programs. The not-for-profit Medicaid health plan serves AHCCCS members, providing access to physical and behavioral health care services for Medicaid-eligible families, children, seniors, and individuals with developmental/cognitive disabilities.
