YogaSix, a modern fitness boutique offering a fresh perspective on one of the world’s oldest practices, recently opened a new location at 24737 North Lake Pleasant Parkway, Suite 104. The studio will introduce people of all ages and abilities to the various health and wellness benefits of the brand’s unique take on yoga in a welcoming, modern, and calming environment.

An amazing team of teachers and wellness advisors have been put together and will be led by husband-and-wife team Jane and Clint Amator. Jane discovered the YogaSix opportunity while recovering from treatment and surgery following a rare cancer diagnosis. It was during that time Jane decided to turn “lemons into lemonade.” “Everything YogaSix had to offer allowed us to fulfill bringing a health and wellness venue to everyone in the community,” Jane says.

“YogaSix brings a fresh, modern take on yoga and we’re looking forward to giving our members a community where they can focus on themselves,” she adds. “We have the opportunity to change lives and positively impact the community around us, which is why we are very excited to open our doors.”

A variety of yoga classes are offered at YogaSix to encompass everything from deep stretching to stress relief to high intensity training. The studio offers six core formats – Y6 101, Y6 Restore, Y6 Slow Flow, Y6 Hot, Y6 Power, and Y6 Sculpt Flow – catering to every fitness level and to strengthening the mind-body connection. The studio provides class options for everybody, from beginners seeking a recovery to more advanced students.

The new studio plans to make an impression with its unique version of yoga. Particularly notable is the use of modern language instead of Sanskrit to describe its practice, as the traditional language can be intimidating to newcomers. YogaSix wants to introduce yoga in a modern practice that allows all levels to feel welcome. New students are always greeted by a wellness advisor when they enter the studio to educate and empower them before they engage in a YogaSix experience.

YogaSix Lake Pleasant is open seven days a week with class times that ensure both members and guests can practice on a schedule that meets their needs. Monthly memberships are available for four or unlimited visits per month, as well as drop-in packages and a ten-class pack. More information about the new studio can be found at yogasix.com/lake-pleasant and the studio can be contacted by phone at 623-254-7277.

To ensure the safety of all members and staff, YogaSix is taking extra safety precautions. The new studio offers contactless check-in and members are required to bring their own mats, props, and towels to practice. Hand sanitizers and wipes will be provided throughout the studio and staff will clean in between all classes.
