On July 31, Phoenix Fire Department staff, the architectural design group, and Phoenix city leadership will unveil design plans for Phoenix Fire Station No. 55 — the permanent fire station that will be built at 27th Avenue and Jomax Road. The new station will continue to serve the growing needs of the north Phoenix community.

Construction is expected to begin this summer (2018) and is anticipated to be complete in late 2019. The public open house will include a brief presentation and an opportunity to view display boards that feature the fire station design. Phoenix Fire staff and design team members will be on site to answer questions about the station design plans.
