Scottsdale’s upscale nightlife scene is about to get a lot more glamorous with the opening of Tell Your Friends, an underground cocktail and live music lounge. This new venue promises a blend of sultry ambiance, curated craft cocktails, elevated small bites, and dynamic live music performances. Located beneath The Americano, Tell Your Friends transports guests to an era of Gatsby-era allure with rich maroon velvet drapes, mirrored walls, and fanciful lighting. The bar, adorned with floor-to-ceiling lights, seamlessly connects to the adjacent stage, creating a dazzling backdrop for nightly live performances. The lounge, open Thursday through Sunday, features a variety of talented vocalists and musical acts that blend classic sounds with a modern twist.

Renowned Arizona Chef Beau MacMillan oversees the menu, bringing his fine-dining expertise to a selection of upscale small bites. Highlights include TYF Korean fried chicken with kimchi honey and smoked bacon ranch ($25), fire-roasted oysters with Chinese sausage and sesame ($30), and vodka-cured salmon & potato ‘pizza’ with dill crème fraiche and smoked salmon roe ($26). For a truly luxurious experience, guests can opt for caviar D’Aquitaine Ossetra with chilled vodka shots ($220).

The cocktail menu, crafted by award-winning bartender Keifer Gilbert, features approximately 20 unique drinks. Signature cocktails include Friends with Benefits, a whiskey concoction bottled and cured in beeswax ($25); One Time Thing, a blend of cognac, banana, and sherry ($26); and Flapper Fizz, a vodka and champagne mix ($24). Classic cocktails such as the Old Fashioned and Negroni are also available, all priced at $20.

“At Tell Your Friends, we’re blending simple, snackable dishes with luxurious, memorable touches,” says Chef MacMillan. “Keifer and I collaborated closely to pair phenomenal cocktails with delightful bites that will inspire and excite our guests. Imagine enjoying a great martini with an amazing onion dip on homemade chips or indulging in fried chicken topped with caviar – there’s nothing better. Also, our talented staff embodies genuine hospitality, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and leaves feeling even better than when they arrived.”

Tell Your Friends is the debut of a collaboration between Creation Hospitality, owners of The Americano and Mora Italian, and Clive Collective, owners of Cala. Accessed through a discreet side door, the 52-seat venue offers an intimate and luxurious setting. Located at 17797 N. Scottsdale Rd., reservations are recommended due to limited space.
