The city of Peoria will begin scheduling appointments for the collection of household hazardous waste starting on October 2. Collection begins on October 16 and will conclude on November 3. There are a limited number of appointments, so please schedule your appointment online at peoriaaz.gov/hhw or by calling 623-773-7836.

Public Safety Night. Kids of all ages will enjoy the chance to get an up-close look at police cars, fire trucks, specialty emergency vehicles, and equipment. Slick City Action Park Expands to Arizona with an Entertainment Center in Peoria
Slick City Action Park, a Missouri-rooted indoor entertainment giant, is making waves in Arizona by confirming a 35,000 square-foot space for its latest venture in Peoria. This marks the company’s first Arizona establishment and adds to its growing portfolio, complementing existing parks in Colorado, Missouri, and Texas.

Positioned strategically at 7518 W. Thunderbird Rd., their Peoria location will be crafted to entertain both young and old. Its array of attractions includes indoor slides, air courts, a multi-level soft play zone, a trapeze, and a zip line. Grad Solutions has launched its latest Helping Undo Barriers (HUB) in Peoria, reinforcing its dedication to aiding students in achieving high school diplomas. This West Valley facility, located at 14202 N. 73rd Ave., the seventh in the Valley, aims to be a “one-stop shop” for students who’ve faced educational interruptions.
Each HUB offers a combination of online coursework and mentorship. Grad Solutions’ Executive Director of Education Rochelle Morris emphasizes HUB’s role in creating conducive environments for learning and providing consistent mentor support.
