Nestled in Westgate Entertainment District, Tulum Modern Mexican pays homage to a small beach town and jungle found on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. This new concept is an elevated dining experience that features bohemian chic décor, authentic, handcrafted dishes, and fresh cocktail ingredients.

At Tulum Modern Mexican, patrons experience a sensory delight through fine dining and drinking in a relaxed, enchanting atmosphere. The eclectic menu includes an array of seafood, grilled meats, artisan cocktails and more using high-quality products.

For those looking to adventure and to try Tulum delicacies, the menu features an array of options. One popular dish is the enchiladas de mole, which is made 100% from scratch. The chef’s mole sauce is served over three chicken enchiladas in fresh, homemade tortillas and topped with toasted sesame seeds and Mexican crème. Since Tulum is a beach town, the menu highlights seafood favorites like ceviche de camaron, pan-seared salmon, and seared scallops. The menu also caters to patrons who want to dine on traditional American menu items within the elegant atmosphere such as Tomahawk steaks and filet mignon cooked to perfection.

The refreshing cocktails are made with citrus juices prepared In-house every day. Three of the specialty cocktails are inspired by Mayan Gods, including the fan-favorite Potion of Gods – Diosa Ixchel, made with Don Julio Reposado tequila, passion fruit juice, orange juice and lime juice.

The restaurant is bathed in soft lighting, greenery, and vegetation, creating an aesthetic environment perfect for a romantic date night. Thursday through Sunday, guests can enjoy live entertainment that can be found in hot spots across Tulum including live fire dancers, guitarists, and DJs.

“Upon entering Tulum Modern Mexican, you are brought to the beaches of Tulum through the atmosphere, music and fine dining experience.” says Marco Martinez, owner. “I am excited to bring this unique experience to the West Valley to provide a larger lens into what authentic Mexican food is.”

The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight; and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
