Dr. Leland H. Webb, MD, FACS, knows that cosmetic procedures can be nerve wracking—he’s not only been the surgeon performing the procedures, but a patient in need of quality care. Because of his experiences on both sides of the operating table—and a belief that a personal, compassionate bedside manner comes before anything else—he founded Webb Plastic Surgery, a top-rated practice with two Phoenix area locations ready to serve those interested in cosmetic procedures.

Quality Personable Care
“He [Dr. Webb] talked to me like a person, not a procedure,” says Aileen G., a recent patient at Webb Plastic Surgery.

At Webb Plastic Surgery, Dr. Webb, who is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, offers everything from breast augmentation to tummy tucks, as well as facelifts and reconstructive surgery, just to name a few. With locations in both Phoenix and Paradise Valley, they serve patients across the Valley and are dedicated to precision, expertise, and compassionate care in all they do. According to his patients and Dr. Webb, it’s the personal approach that makes Webb Plastic Surgery stand out.

“I’ve had patients tell me that I ‘speak to them like another human being,’ meaning that I’m easy to talk to and talk to them like a friend would,” Dr. Webb shares. “I think that’s what really separates our practice from the rest—that personal touch and ability to see things from their point of view.”

Dr. Webb shares that he knows what it’s like to be a patient, so he takes that experience with him when it comes to treating his own patients. In 2012, he was in a debilitating bike accident that left him in need of reconstructive plastic surgery. “I remember laying there in the hospital and how helpless I felt,” he says. “My doctors were my friends, so of course they treated me like a friend and kept me updated like a friend would. I thought to myself, ‘Isn’t that what people want?’ To be treated on that comforting, relationship-based level makes all the difference in the world.”

“A lot of the time doctors can come off as very esoteric—as if they have this unapproachable air about them,” he continues. “For me, plastic surgery and being a doctor is a wonderful skill set that I have that can help people change their lives and feel better in their own skin. If someone is looking for a doctor who is world-class trained and cares extensively on a personal level about their clients, Webb Plastic Surgery is the place to come to.”
Experience and Character That Count
Dr. Webb founded Webb Plastic Surgery in 2020 after he served in the United States Air Force for 17 years, where he was a practicing surgeon for much of that time. He garnered his medical training from the world-class institutions of Vanderbilt University and Mayo Clinic. He is well-published in several medical journals spanning the disciplines of medicine and surgery and he maintains academic appointments at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the University of Arizona.

“Starting my own practice was one of the hardest, most worthwhile things I’ve ever done,” Dr. Webb shares. “There’s a lot of unknowns and risks that come with establishing your own medical practice, but to know that I have that autonomy to build a practice based on values and ethics that are important to me is priceless.”

Building his own quality practice has worked out well for Dr. Webb as, since opening just two years ago, they have expanded to two offices and were honored on a list of the highest rated companies in Arizona by Top Rated Local.

“I believe that my passion for providing compassionate care and being relatable to patients comes from my extensive experiences in the military and moving around so much while in the service,” Dr. Webb shares. “I was honored to learn from and meet people that were different from me, and that helped me to truly value my own authenticity and figure out what is important to me.”

One part of his practice that makes Dr. Webb so relatable to patients is that he is a Desert Ridge resident, family man, and dedicated to the community. He runs the practice with the help of his wife, Sarah, who is his college sweetheart. He’s also a dedicated dad of two children, ages 11 and 12.

“Plastic surgery of course is often an elective, cosmetic procedure, but it can also be needed and reconstructive in nature as well,” Dr. Webb says. “Being able to help restore people’s confidence in themselves and, sometimes, even be credited for ‘giving them their life back,’ is so rewarding.”

Webb Plastic Surgery has two locations: 300 W. Clarendon Avenue, #440, in Phoenix and 5410 N. Scottsdale Road, C-100, in Paradise Valley. To learn more, visit webbplasticsurgery.com or call 602-428-6320.
