The PhoenixParks and Recreation Department is offering golfers a unique way to escape the daytime heat this spring and summer with night golf at the city’s Palo Verde 9-hole course.

The “Night Flight Golf” course will be lined with glow lights and players will receive a glow necklace and glow ball.  Each foursome will receive a flash light to wave up the next foursome. For safety reasons no golf carts will be used – golfers will walk or pull a cart.

Night golf costs $100/foursome.  Each event will be run in a tournament format as a four-person scramble and include fun prizes and a goodie bag for each player. Pre-registration is required by calling 602-249-9930 or by visiting the Palo Verde Golf Course.  The “2014 Night Flight Golf” schedule is expanded, due to its popularity, with the first date starting in March.  The schedule is as follows:
