The team behind Press Coffee is passionate about supporting the local community. Over the years the locally owned and operated company has donated to a variety of Valley nonprofits though annual fundraising efforts. The Day of Giving is the largest fundraiser that Press hosts. On September 24, Press will donate 100% of profits from in-store and online sales on that day to the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC).
“Investing in our community is one of our priorities,” says Steve Kraus, co-owner and founder of Press Coffee. “It is important to us to recognize the hard work that so many nonprofits do here in the Valley. We are proud to have several other businesses join us to make a bigger impact and donation to SARCC.”

SARRC was established in 1997 and is an internationally recognized nonprofit that conducts innovative research, provides evidence-based practices, disseminates effective training, and builds inclusive communities for individuals with autism and their families. SARRC is dedicated to autism research, education, evidence-based treatment, and community outreach.

Several other Valley businesses have joined Press for this day of giving, committing to match its donation to increase the total amount. The goal is to raise $25,000. Ageless Men’s Health, CENTR Brands USA, The Ambassador Group Insurance, IES, and O.H.S.O. Brewery are the companies that will also be donating to SARRC. Press is hoping to recruit more business; these are the ones that have committed at the time of print.
